Our Rooms

The Learning Tree Day Nursery takes great care to create and maintain an environment that will satisfy your child's needs. Carefully we listen to the children as they grow and develop.

The nursery has been thoughtfully divided into 3 spacious rooms, and has lots of natural light. Within the nursery we have various rooms for the children. The main rooms are dependent on the children's ages and include:


Bunnies Room

The Bunnies room is for babies and children aged under two. 

This room has been designed with the children at heart and is a bright homely snugly, warm and stimulating environment for the children. The room has child sized furniture with the equipment and toys accessible to the children to explore and play with.


Owls Room

The Owls nursery room is for children over 2 years. The room is situated downstairs from the Bunnies room and it is a spacious and bright room with access to the garden. There is a changing area and the children are encouraged to gain independence with both toilet training and hand washing by having access to the toilets and sinks under the supervision of staff.. The toddlers are encouraged to flow easily between their room and the Pre- school room. The room is filled with natural light and there is plenty room on the walls to display the children's work.

Organization of the room is one of open shelving to allow for easy access to activities such as, games, puzzles, water and sand play and construction. This allows the children to work independently and at all times equipment is readily available for the children to learn through play.


Lions Room

The Lions Pre-school room is a warm and cosy room with a lot of natural light. The furniture is child sized and allows for easy access and selection of equipment for the children. The children in this room have access to outdoors and use the toilets independently. The also have easy access to water and help themselves as and when necessary.

  • Mathematical Development
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the World
  • Physical Development
  • Creative Development

 

The Outside Environment

The Learning Tree Day Nursery's garden is spacious and has large and small physical playing equipment and garden toys.
